Contemporary visual artist, Jim Lambie, graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, and he lives and works as an artist, DJ and musician in Glasgow. In 2005, he was shortlisted for Turner Prize with his installation, Mental Oyster. Lambie’s work is loaded with metaphorical, ironic and music references which explore pop culture. In 2021, Lambie had a solo show at Modern Institute, Glasgow, titled Buttercup.
