A BURMESE WHITE METAL TRAY
of circular form, the centre with repousse decoration of deities and warriors amongst a landscape, surrounding a blank shaped cartouche, the everted shaped rim with scrolling foliate decoration, with probably later added grotesque mask feet, 28.5cm diameter, 7.5cm high, 990gms / 31.82toz
Tray casting is still detailed and sharp. The rim is slightly misshapen, leg has broken off and lots of glue residue to the base. Rim has been worked on in atleast two places. Other leg has some tarnish. Seems to have been submerged in something.
