Born in London and studied at the Edinburgh College of Art, Oram is recognised for her joyous colour palette, uplifting sill life studies, and landscapes. She was elected to The Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1986, and solo exhibitions include The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh; Corrymella Scott, Newcastle; Corto & Nero, Vienna; Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh and Thackeray Gallery, London.
