ORIENTAL VALUATION DAY AT GREAT WESTERN AUCTIONS

Great Western Auctions will hold a special Valuation Day of Oriental Works of Art on

MONDAY 25TH APRIL 2016 10am -3pm

Today’s Asian market is strong and we have experienced an increased demand for quality Oriental Works of Art at auction.

More valuable examples are sold in our Quarterly Fine Arts and Antiques Auction with International marketing through our website and online bidding ensuring high prices.

We regularly find treasures in our day to day valuations and our dedicated Oriental day will give you an opportunity to discover if you have items of value.

Amongst the areas of interest that we are looking for

Chinese Art – Ceramics, Jades, Bronzes, Ivories, Scroll Paintings, Furniture, Textiles, Early Photographs, Snuff Bottles

Japanese Art – Bronzes, Netsuke, Inro, Wooblock Prints, Ceramics, Lacquered Wares, Furniture, Textiles

Indian Art  – Silver, Ivory Miniatures, Sculptures, Metalwares, Ceramics, Paintings, Textiles

With over 30 years’ experience in this field, our Oriental specialist Paul Howard and Consultant Specialist Robert Ferguson (former curator at Pollok House, Glasgow), will be available to give an up to date assessment of your works of art, whether it be a single item or an entire collection.
