A Scottish Victorian dirk

By Robert & Henry Bruce Kirkwood, Edinburgh, 1882. The hilt with Celtic decorated mount and a faceted crystal pommel. The leather scabbard with similar silver mounts and subsidiary knife and fork. Also a matching unmarked skean dhu and a silver plated citrine set plaid brooch, engraved with the national motto of Scotland “Nemo Me Impune Lacessit” (no one provokes me with impunity) and thistle embossed edge. The dirk 46.5cm overall, the skean dhu 20.5cm long and the brooch 10.3cm diameter
