GREAT TO BE BACK!
GREAT TO BE BACK
3 Auction Days in our first week.
Bidders in the room were by appointment only, but internet, commission and phone bids ensured that splendid prices were achieved in all sections.
Our new Furniture and Interiors Auction on Wednesday saw strong interest in Victorian pieces (see lot 959 mahogany partners desk hammer £420) as well as the new favourites of the 20th Century (see lot 1076 Ercol dining suite £300.
Particularly strong in our Two Day Antiques and Collectables Auction on Friday and Saturday were gold coins and jewellery, these prices being driven by the high price of gold bullion at the moment.
See lot 93 Guernsey gold coin £1440 (This is certainly the time to sell gold items)
There was a good collection of guitars in the sale which included an 1989 National guitar (lot 259 sold for £1200) and a Steve Henderson Breedlove 6 string (lot 247 sold for £950)
My favourite though was a bonnie Arts and Crafts clock, lot 336 sold for £1300
Our Auction formula and calendar has changed so keep up to date with information on our website
