Dura Den - bumps to edges and to head and foot of spine. Wear to cloth at hinges and to head and foot of spine. Binding by John Gray of Edinburgh. Pages a little yellowed and foxed in places, most significantly towards start and end of text. Some foxing to colour plates. Binding secure. Pages occasionally marked and with creasing at hinge.
Geology of Arran - some bubbling to cloth. Wear to leather at hinges and head and foot of spine. Colour plates lightly yellowed and with occasional minor foxing. One with blue watercolour (?)marks verso. Very minor foxing occasionally but pages otherwise very clean and crisp. A good copy.
Geology of East Fife (shown in loose plastic jacket) - covers in good order with light bumps to edges and head and foot of spine. Some light foxing to edges and to pages at start and end of text. Folding map present. Some staining to front pastedown.
Geology of East Fife, second copy - in rougher shape, with tears to cloth and back hinge splitting. Presentation copy, inscribed by the author. Further ownership inscription in pencil to title. Folding map present. Light faxing to pages at start and end of text.
Geological Structure of the North-West Highlands - some foxing to page edges. Top edges a little dirty. Bumps to head and foot of spine. Otherwise, a very good copy.
geology and Scenery of Sutherland - endpapers discoloured. Covers of variable colour. Internally, very good. Two linen-back maps present.
