2007 Ultra premium bottling from the Islay based distillery. Created to celebrate the history of hunting and shooting lodges. One of only 250 sets created.
Featuring two hand blown glass bottles of Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky, from two specially selected and rare 1974 casks, with 'gunplate' style labels and individually stamped wax seals. The 1974 casks are renowned for being some of the best Whisky to come from the famed distillery.
Housed in a leather Purdey & Sons bespoke Gun Case, fitted specially to hold the whisky bottles. The case also features an internal Sterling Silver 'gunplate' style logo, affixed to the lid.
Alongside the whisky are eight Hamilton & Inches solid 925 sterling silver cups, engraved with a Celtic zoomorphic design and the Ardbeg Logo.
The collection also features an OMAS handcrafted Italian pen, constructed from mature Oak and sterling silver. Featuring Celtic knot designs and Ardbeg logo engraving.
The set is completed by Ardbeg branded leather and silver polishing kits, as well as a hard backed information booklet on the collection and history of hunting in Scotland, and a tasting notes sampling register booklet.
