Our staff are available for valuations at our premises at 1291 Dumbarton Road, Whiteinch, Glasgow G14 9UY Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday of each week 9am-5pm.
Mondays and Fridays by appointment only. Please call 0141 954 1500 to arrange.
You can also e-mail images to info@greatwesternauctions.com or send them by post to the above address.
For large collections or estate valuations we can visit clients at the property to undertake an inspection.
We can offer valuations on:
Jewellery, gold coins, silver, silver plate, ceramics, porcelain, glass, decorative arts, metalware, clocks, barometers, sports memorabilia, medals, militaria, stamps, toys, collectors items, musical and scientific instruments, works of art, textiles, oil paintings, watercolours and pencil signed prints, rugs, carpets, 20th century design, Antique, Victorian and Edwardian furniture.
We hold quarterly Fine Art picture auctions which consist of works by late 19th/early 20th century and Scottish contemporary artists.

Formal Valuation Services
Great Western Auctions provides a wide range of professional valuation services for inheritance tax and insurance to private clients, solicitors, executors and trustees.
Great Western Auctions will provide a bound inventory, usually within seven days of the initial visit.
If required, items of value can be removed immediately by our removers and stored for safety. Properties can be cleared if required.
Saleable goods can be transported to auction and placed into an appropriate sale and un-saleable goods of no value disposed of.
